Frequently Asked Questions

If you don’t see your question here, contact us.

How do modules stack into a path?

Start with core skills—edges and values—then add color and composition labs. Each module lists its prerequisites and suggested next steps so you can build a custom path without getting lost.

Do I need prior experience?

No. Our Beginner modules assume no formal training. If you already paint, jump to Intermediate or Advanced modules and use the drills to refine specific weaknesses.

What supplies are required?

You can start with paper, a few brushes, and paints for your chosen medium. Each course page lists a concise kit, with budget and premium options. Digital modules only require a tablet and stylus.

How long is each module?

Most modules run 30–90 minutes, plus optional drills. Deep-dive labs may take 2–3 hours with iterations. We recommend scheduling short, consistent sessions.

Are refunds available?

Yes. If a course clearly isn’t a fit within 14 days of purchase, contact us for a resolution. We’ll guide you to a better match or arrange a refund according to our Terms.

Is there a certificate?

You receive a digital certificate for completing a track of modules, including a summary of skills covered and project outcomes.

Can teams use these courses?

Absolutely. Teams can adopt shared drills and critique prompts. Contact us to discuss a custom set for your studio goals.

Do you offer critiques?

We include structured critique worksheets. While we don’t provide 1:1 mentorship, the worksheets help any peer group run effective critique sessions.
